IntroductionMy trimmed down version of chicken cordon bleu My trimmed down version of chicken cordon bleu
2lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 4 8 oz breasts or 8 4 oz breasts)
4 slices 2% milk Swiss cheese
9oz package Hillshire Farm Deli Select Hearty Slices Virginia Brand Baked Ham
1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
Herbs and spices to taste
Butterfly the breasts (split in half without cutting all the way through). Evenly distribute the ham and cheese between the breasts and fold them back in half. (if desired secure with toothpicks)
Place breast on cookie sheet and top each one with breadcrumbs(season with herbs and spices if desired)
Bake for aproximately 30 minutes or until white all the way through.
