Shepherds Pie

Ingredients



    * Ground beef, lean, 16 oz
    * Mixed Vegetables, frozen, 1 package (10 oz)
    * Mashed Potatoes, 3 cup
    * Cheddar Cheese, 1 cup, shredded
    * Beef broth, bouillon, consomme, .5 cup
    * Onions, raw, .5 cup, chopped
    * Mushrooms, fresh, 1 cup, pieces or slices
    * milk gv 2%, .5 cup

Directions

Brown ground beef in a big skillet along with the onions and mushrooms

When done, drain and set aside

While it is cooking, boil the 5 potatoes

Cook the mixed veggies, drain

When potatoes are cooled down a bit, add the milk and mash with the milk.

Mix the drained hamburger mixture and the mixed veggies.

Pour into a 9 x 12 pan (or similar rectangular size).

Spread potatoes over the top in portions, or it will make a mess.

Bake in a 400 oven for 35-40 minutes, until bubbly on top.

Turn oven to 300 and spread cheese over top and let bake another 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
