Introduction

No matter how healthy I become, there are a couple things I'll never give up. One is gramma's drop biscuits. The memories alone make them worth fitting into my days worth of calories! Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    2 cups flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 cup margarine
    1 cup milk

Directions

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Cut in finely 1/4 cup margarine. Stir in milk. Drop onto sprayed baking sheet. Bake at 450 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Makes 9 biscuits.

    Have you ever tried substituting whole wheat for any portion of the white flour? I'm just wondering whether that could be done without affecting the taste and texture too much. - 12/27/09
