Slow Cooker Mole Beef

Ingredients

1 chopped onion
4 tbsp grape jelly
4 tsp garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp sesame oil
3/4 tsp ground cumin
3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
5 tsp cocoa powder
1/2 square (14g) bakers chocolate
hot pepper sauce to taste
1 14.5oz can diced tomatoes
1 cup tomato sauce
1 cup beef broth
1 lb strip steak sliced thin
4 tbsp maple syrup
Directions
Put the sesame oil in frying pan on med-high heat and quickly sear the beef on both sides. Place the seared beef and all of the other ingredients in the crockpot and cook on low for 6 hours or until beef is falling apart. Shred the beef and place back in cooker on high for another hour or so. Serve over rice.
