Honey Cracked Wheat Bread

Introduction

One Bowl, No Knead One Bowl, No Knead
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    3/4 cup dry bulgur
    1/4 cup honey
    3 tsp unsalted butter
    3/4 cup boiling water

    1 cup whole wheat flour
    1 cup all purpose flour
    1/2 tsp sea salt
    1 tbsp fast rise yeast
    1 1/2 cups lukewarm water

Directions

Put first 4 ingredients in a large bowl, and allow bulgur to soften..Add remaining ingredients. Batter should be thick and sticky. Cover with plastic wrap and allow to double in bulk.
Meanwhile preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place a broiler pan with water on bottom oven shelf.
Grease a large loaf pan. Put batter into loaf pan, and allow to rise.
Put in oven for approximately 30-40 minutes.

Serves 12.
