Jeannie's Breakfast casserole

Submitted by: JEANNIE65

Introduction

Great Breakfast to make the night before and then just pop in the oven in the morning! There are many ways to spice this recipe up; for example use Southwestern style hash browns or by adding Rotel (mild - Extra hot) before you add the sausage. Also, Egg Beaters makes a Southwestern style...so the possibilities are almost limit less. Great Breakfast to make the night before and then just pop in the oven in the morning! Egg Beaters - 32 Fl oz
Sausage - 2 lbs (hot or mild... I use one of each your choice)

Directions

Brown the sausage and drain off remaining grease. On the bottom of a 9 X 13 casserole dish, spread the uncooked hash browns. Layer the sausage on top of the hash browns. Pour the Egg Beaters on top of the sausage and hash browns. Sprinkle the cheese on top, covering the entire dish. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 350 for at least one hour.
