Macaroni Mess

Introduction

My husband named this dish because he couldn't remember what was in it. My husband named this dish because he couldn't remember what was in it.
Number of Servings: 3

Ingredients

    1 cup uncooked elbow macaroni
    1/2 lb lean ground beef
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 celery rib, chopped
    1 small green pepper, chopped
    1 garlic clove, minced
    1 can (10 3/4 oz) reduced-sodium condensed tomato soup, undiluted
    3 Tsp Italian Seasoning
    Dash of salt
    Dash of pepper
    1/2 cup of shredded reduced-fat cheddar cheese

Directions

Cook pasta according to package. In a large skillet, cook the beef, onion, celery, green pepper and garlic over medium heat until meat is done and vegetables are tender. Drain. Drain pasta and add to beef mixture. Stir in soup, Italian seasoning and salt and pepper. Brin to boil, Reduce heat, simmer uncovered for 4-5 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese.

Makes 3 servings.
