Healthy Oatmeal Molasses Cookies

Introduction

I adapted another recipe on Sparkpeople for my diabetic hubby. I adapted another recipe on Sparkpeople for my diabetic hubby.
Number of Servings: 20

Ingredients

    1c whole wheat flour
    1/3 c oats
    1/4 t salt
    1 t baking powder
    1 t cinnamon
    1/4 t fresh grated nutmeg
    1 t grated ginger root
    1 t vanilla extract
    1/2 banana, mashed
    1/3 c unsweetened applesauce
    2 T olivio margarine
    2 T molasses
    2 packets splenda
    2 T craisins
    2 T walnut meats, broken
    1 T ground flax seed

Directions

Preheat convection oven to 350 degrees.
Combine first 6 ingredients and sieve.
In a separate bowl, mash/whisk all other ingredients.
Mix both dry and wet ingredients.
Using a melon-baller, spoon out 20 cookies onto a cookie sheet sprayed with Pam.
Bake for 10 minutes.
