Introduction

This recipe makes 3 large loaves This recipe makes 3 large loaves
Number of Servings: 30

Ingredients

    6 cp flour,
    1 pkg. yeast
    2 cups warm water
    1/2 stick melted butter
    1 tbl salt
    2 tbl sugar

Directions

dissolve yeast in warm water for 5 minutes
put 5 cups flour into bowl and add the salt, sugar and melted butter, slowly mix in yeast water mixture. Turn out onto large surface for kneading, add the last cup of flour as needed. let rise for 1 hour in covered bowl that has been greased. Turn out onto floured surface and divide and shape into loaves. Let rise for 45 minutes then place in 500 degree oven for 18 minutes, (don't open the oven door!) turn off heat and leave in oven for an additional 3 minutes. each lof yields 10 servings!
