spinach stew

Ingredients

    Spinach, fresh, 1 bunch
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
    *Cumin seed, 1 tbsp
    Sunflower Oil (oleic), 1 tbsp
    Rice flour, white, 30 grams
    lentils.. a few of ur choice.
    jeera.
    salt
    red chilli powder.
    green chillies

Directions

cut the onions into lenght wise pieces. chopp the spinach after thoroughly washing it in salt water.

in a depp pan take 1 tsp of oil .. and add the cumin seeds and the onions.. and fry till they ar e soft .. now add the chopped spinach , salt turmeric, jaggery, red chilli powder a green chillies and add the tamarind pulp and let the spinach cook till it becomes soft.. dont overcook it.. now dissolve 2 spns of rice powder in 1/2 cup of water and add this to the mixture . this will thicken the stew.add water accordingly for consistency.
