Blueberry Almond Smoothie

Submitted by: BTVMADS

Introduction

A great post-workout breakfast, with 12 grams of protein to keep you going. Yum! A great post-workout breakfast, with 12 grams of protein to keep you going. Yum!
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

1 6oz container of Stonyfield Yogurt -- Plain, Blueberry or Vanilla is best. Blueberry is used in the calorie counts. Vanilla has 40 more calories, Plain has 30 fewer.
    1/2 cup of milk
1/2 of a small banana (I keep pre-sliced bananas ready to go in the freezer just for smoothies)
1/2 cup of blueberries (again, I like frozen)
    5 Almonds
    Almond Extract, if desired

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. If you didn't use frozen ingredients, you might even want to make this the night before and chill it overnight -- just stir it up before drinking. Yum!!

Number of Servings: 1
