Grandma's Egg White Cookies

Submitted by: JCHLLM

Introduction

This is an old family recipe that my grandmother made when I was a kid. I was curious about how many calories each cookie was and now I don't feel guilty at all about eating them! Enjoy. Ingredients

    * Egg white, 2 serving
    * Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chips, 1/2 cup
    * Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp
    * Granulated Sugar, .5 cup
    * Salt, .25 tbsp
    * Cream Of Tartar, .25 tsp

Directions

Beat egg white until frothy. Add salt and sugar gradually. Add cream of tartar and vanilla.
Beat until stiff peaks form. Fold in chocolate chips.
Drop on parchment paper (must be ONLY parchment paper, no cookie sheet) and bake at 275F for 45 minutes.
**Special directions.... Turn off oven and leave to cool for 3-4 hours or overnight. Overnight works the best because no one will open the oven and let the warm air out.
