Turkey & Venison Meatballs

Submitted by: ANGELALEE25

Introduction

I came up with these using what I had in the freezer. Adjust seasonings to individual tastes. They are great with whole wheat spaghetti & sauce or on rolls as hoagies. Ingredients

    20 oz 90/10 Ground Turkey
    24 oz Ground Venison
    1 Cup Italian Bread Crumbs
    1 Medium Onion, Chopped
    2 Stalk Celery, Chopped
    1 1/2 Tbs Worcestershire Sauce
    2 Medium Eggs
    1/4 Cup Skim Milk
    1 Tsp Salt
    1 Tbs Black Pepper
    1 Tbs Dried Basil
    1 Tbs Dried Parsley
    2 Tsp Garlic Powder
    2 Tsp Onion Powder

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
1) Mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl until well blended. Let sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
2) Form into decent sized balls. I usually make 28 meatballs, for a serving size of 4 each. They will fit perfectly into a 9 x 11 baking pan. If not using a non-stick pan, spray with cooking spray. There wll practically be no grease rendered.
3) Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour or until done. Serve as desired.
