Marinara Pork Chop Dinner
Submitted by: EMMA2727272Introduction
This is DELICIOUS!! I made it the other day from ingredients I had around the house and it was so, so good! It really makes the pork tender and is easy to double to serve two, or triple.. or quadrouple... :)You can add any spices like rosemary or sage (1 tsp dried) if you like. This is just a basic recipe that can be altered to your preferences! This is DELICIOUS!! I made it the other day from ingredients I had around the house and it was so, so good! Number of Servings: 1
Ingredients
-
1/2 cup tomatoe/spaghetti/marinara sauce (whatever you have on hand)
1 tbsp of honey
5 cloves (or however many you want) garlic
1 tsp garlic powder (remove if you don't love garlic)
1 cup chopped broccoli
3 oz pork chop
1/4 cup cooked white rice
5 tbsp of salsa (I prefer hot, but whatever you want!)
Directions
Add all ingredients except for the pork to a medium size pan.
Heat until the sauce starts simmering and then cook simmering for another 2 mins.
Add pork chop and let cook for about 7-10 mins, depending on thickness.
Turn the pork chop over and continue to cook for another 7-10 mins.
Pork chop is done when it is still slightly pink in the middle.
Spoon over rice and serve hot!
