Ingredients

Chicken Breast, no skin, 1 breast, bone and skin removed
Pacific Natural Foods Organic Low Sodium Chicken Broth, 1 cup, 6 serving
Water, tap, 2 cup (8 fl oz)
Barley, pearled, cooked, 3 cup
Onions, raw, .25 cup, chopped
Carrots, raw, .25 cup, chopped
Green Peppers (bell peppers), 3 tbsp
White Rice, medium grain, 2 cup cooked
Garlic, 3 cloves
season with pepper, sage, cumin, ginger as needed to taste
Directions
boil chicken in water, cut in pieces and return to pot with all ingredients except rice
boil about 30 minutes add cooked rice and return to simmer
serving size is 1 cup
