Slow Cooker Harvest Pork Roast

Introduction

Good winter recipe. Good winter recipe.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    2 onions, quarterd
    3 celery stalks, cut into 2-3 inch pieces
    1 cup whole, fresh cranberries
    1 pear, cored and sliced into 8 slices
    1 apple, cored and sliced into 8 slices
    2 tsp dried thyme
    2/3 cup brown sugar
    2 tsp salt
    2-3 lbs Pork butt roast, cut into 2-3 inch pieces
    1 cup chicken broth
    6-8 oz brie cheese, cut into pieces

Directions

Place veggies and fruits into bottom of slow cooker. Sprinkle with Thyme, Sugar, and Salt. Place pork on top of fruits/veggies and pour broth over. Cook on low for 7 hours.

After 7 hours, place brie on top of pork and cook an additional hour on low.
