The Not Exactly Chili Chili

Submitted by: LADYLOOMI

Introduction

This is my chili that I learned to cook with my mom....the only problem is that my husband doesn't seem to consider it chili. either way it's really tasty and works really well with cornbread. Ingredients

    2 tbsp olive oil
1 lb ground meat (i usually use ground beef)
    1 medium onion
    3-4 cloves of garlic
2 tbsp meat seasoning or chili seasoning packet
    2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
    1/2 cup steak sauce
1/2 bottle of beer or 1 cup of beer
    1 cup of beef stock
1 can of tomatoes...diced/crushed/whatever sounds tastier

Directions

chop up your onion and garlic and set it on a plate by the stove.
in a bowl mix together the meat seasoning, worchestershire sauce, steak sauce, beer, and broth. (you might also take this time to get your can of tomatoes opened).
get a large pot and pour in the olive oil and turn the heat on to medium high-high heat. once the pan gets hot add the ground beef and begin to brown it. while you're browning it add in the onions and the garlic. once your meat is browned add in the bowl of liquids and turn the heat down to medium. stir that for about a minute then add the can of tomatoes. turn the heat down to low and let it simmer until you're ready to serve.
