Coconut Chex Treats

Introduction

NOT healthy, but delicious! NOT healthy, but delicious!
Number of Servings: 20

Ingredients

    1 cup sugar
    1 cup Light Karo Syrup
    3 sticks butter
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    2 cups shredded coconut
    2 cups sliced almonds
    1 box Rice Chex

Directions

Microwave sugar, syrup, butter and a dash of salt on high for five minutes. Stir. Microwave for two more minutes. Add baking soda, vanilla, coconut, and almonds. Pour over chex spread out on a buttered cookie sheet. Mix together and allow to cool, then serve. Makes about 20 1/2 cup servings.
