8 oz fresh, sliced Mushrooms
3 Tbsp of Light Butter
1 small onion julienned
2 tsp of minced garlic
dash of salt
dash of pepper
1/4 cup red wine
melt butter in saute pan
add onions, mushrooms, garlic, salt and pepper
cook over low heat until mushrooms cook down and become tender
Add wine, continue to simmer
serve once wine is gone and sauce around mushrooms thickens. Vary cooking time to thickness of sauce you desire.
