WW Jambalaya

Introduction

old Weight Watcher recipe from the 80's old Weight Watcher recipe from the 80's
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    8 oz chicken pieces
    8 oz ham or Italian sausage
    8 oz shrimp
    1/4 cup chicken broth
    1/2 cup clam juice
    2 cups crushed tomatoes
    3 cloves garlic
    1 cup chopped onion
    2 cups chopped bell pepper
    2 TBSP olive oil
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp ground red pepper
    1 tsp dried basil
    1/2 tsp garlic powder

Directions

heat oil in large skillet. Cook chicken, stirring constantly. Add ham and toss with chicken. Add shrimp,and cook until no longer pink. Remove meats with slotted spoon to plate, and set aside. Add bell pepper, onion, and garlic, and cook for 5 min. Add remaining ingredients, and bring to a boil. Add back in meats, lower heat and simmer for 15 more minutes. Serve with linguine or rice (not included in nutritional info.
