Chicken Slow Cooker Stew

Ingredients

    22 oz. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
    1 large onion, sliced
    1 cup carrots, sliced
    1 parsnip
    3 medium potatoes, cubed
    1 tsp thyme
    salt to taste
    1/2 tsp black pepper
    1 cup frozen peas
    3-1/2 cups chicken broth
    1 tsp. celery seed

Directions

Combine all ingredients except peas in the slow cooker, stir well. Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours until chicken is done and veggies are tender. Stir in peas 30 minutes before serving.
