I used whole wheat flour, low fat milk, one less egg yolk and substituted splenda for sugar. Served them with warm applesauce. My family gave them thumbs up! - 12/27/09

Most of my family liked these, but my brother and my mom thought they were too salty and didn't care for them too much. I will cut down on the salt next time. - 12/21/10

Just made these. My husband and I loved them! Filling and tasty! I got 15 out of the recipe but kept the serving to 3 pancakes. Filled me up. And for you WW-ers-- 1 serving is 5 pts. Not bad! :) - 2/21/10

  • Such an easy recipe! This is my children's favorite pancake. The only problem I have with this recipe is telling the kids they have to choose something else for breakfast; variety is important. This makes for a fun supper, too. Thank you! - 7/10/10

  • I cut the slt in half and the riginal recipe was still too salty. Next time I will sub skim milk for half of the buttermilk and omit the salt. Batteris heavy so stick to dollar size or they are hard to flip. - 3/12/10

  • I love Betty Crocker. They do seem a little high in calories for each pancake unless that's one serving. - 12/25/09
