A nice, meatless chili A nice, meatless chili
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 pound dried Beans, red kidney
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
    Old El Paso Chili Seasoning (1) Packet
    Diced tomatoes no salt 2 14.5 ounce cans
    Chili powder, 4 tbsp
    Tony Cachere's Creole Seasoning, 1.5 tsp
    Vegetable broth, .25 cup

Directions

Soak beans overnight. Then mix beans, onion, chili seasoning, diced tomatoes, chili powder, creole seasoning and broth in crock pot. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. Makes 8 hearty servings.

Can be served over brown rice and garnished with low fat cheese or low fat sour cream.
