Todd's Sticky Protein Bars

Submitted by: OJAISTER

Introduction

These protein bars are very basic. You can add additional protein and reduce dry milk or oats to achieve a higher protein to carb ratio if needed. I just kept this one basic using 1/4 cups, 1/2 cups and full cup measurements These protein bars are very basic. Ingredients

    .5C Oatmeal (I prefer 6 grain cereal)
1.5C Protein Powder (chocolate or vanilla)

    .25C Natural Peanut Butter

Directions

1. Mix dry ingredients (Oats, Protein Powder and Skim Milk Powder) in a bowl.

3. Add water (by the tablespoon) to create a very dense, sticky mixture. I think I add about 1/4 C total.
4. Spray 8x8 Pyrex pan with Pam & press dough evenly in pan.
5. Refrigerate for a few hours.
6. Cut into 8 bars and wrap in plastic wrap.

Store in refrigerator.
