Garlic Rice

Introduction

Modified from my mom's non-veg friendly recipe. Perfect simple side for any garlic lover; creamy and rich without the cholesterol. Modified from my mom's non-veg friendly recipe. Perfect simple side for any garlic lover; creamy and rich without the cholesterol.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    Garlic, 2 cloves pressed or 3-4 tsp pre-minced
    1 cup Brown Rice, dry
    2 cups Vegetable broth
    1/4 cup nutritional yeast

Directions

Put garlic, rice, and broth into a pot.

Bring to a boil, then cover, and reduce to low heat.

Let simmer for approximately 45 minutes, or until broth is absorbed and rice is tender.

Remove from heat and mix in nutritional yeast.
