Chocolate Waffle Cookies

Introduction

No oven required! Chocolate cookies are made on waffle iron, then chocolate frosting is spread on top. Very tasty and unique. Ribbon winners at the fair! No oven required! Number of Servings: 75

Ingredients

    COOKIES
    3 squares (3 ounces) chocolate
    1 cup butter
    2 and 1/2 cup flour
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 and 1/2 cup sugar (granulated)
    4 eggs
    FROSTING
    1/4 cup sugar
    1/4 cup milk
    1 square (or 1 ounce) chocolate
    6 tablespoons butter
    1 pound (1 and 3/4 cup) powdered sugar

Directions

COOKIES
1. Melt chocolate and butter over hot water.
2.Beat eggs and sugar.
3. Add chocolate mixture, then the rest of the COOKIE ingredients.
4. Bake one teaspoon of dough on hot waffle iron for 65 seconds. You can put four cookies on at once if you have a waffle iron with four sections. (That'll make it go quicker)

FROSTING
5. Melt all FROSTING ingredients together EXCEPT the powdered sugar.
6. Add the powdered sugar to the melted mixture.

7. Frost the cookies once everything is cooled.

Yield:75-80 delicious cookies
Prep time: 1 hourish???
Bake Time: 65 seconds per cookie
