Buckwheat Sesame CrackersSubmitted by: PJAMMIE
1/4 c. arrowroot starch
1 c. buckwheat flour
3 T. sesame seeds
1/4 t. salt
1/2 c. water
2 T. sesame oil
additional 1/4 t. salt to sprinkle on tops
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Stir together dry ingredients in a small bowl. Make a well in the center and add water and sesame oil. Stir until well blended. Pat into a rectangle on an oiled cookie sheet. Cover the rectangle of dough with a piece of wax paper and roll out with a rolling pin until it covers the cookie sheet and is a uniform thickness. Cut into two inch squares and sprinkle tops with remaining salt. Bake at 400 degrees for 12 minutes or until evenly browned. You may have to remove thinner crackers from the edges 1-2 minutes before the other crackers are done.
