Brown and crumble sausage. Push sausage to one side of skillet, allowing grease drippings to drain to the opposite side. Add 3-4 tablespoons vegetable oil (enough to make 4 tablespoons total). Add flour to grease; combine to make a roux. Distribute roux over sausage. Return to heat and add milk. As the milk boils, the gravy thickens. Remove from heat. Serve over biscuits.
