IntroductionVery moist and delicious!!! Very moist and delicious!!!
2.5 cups Whole wheat Flour
2 cups Wheat Germ
1 cup packed Brown Sugar
1 cup Raisins
2.5 tsp Baking Soda
0.5 tsp Salt
2 cups 2% Milk
2 lg Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
0.25 cup Oil
1 tbsp Molasses
Shake oil, eggs and Vanilla together.
Add milk and shake well.
Add wet ingrdients to dry - mix well.
Spoon into line/greased muffin pans
Bake for 20-25 mins @ 180 deg C
Makes 24 cupcake sized muffins.

Very interesting flavor; I can really taste the wheatgerm. I substituted eggwhites for the eggs and applesauce for the oil to reduce calories, and baked at 400F for 18 minutes. - 8/14/07

We've been making these for a few years now. Was a time I sold them too. They are quite yummy. I'm also one to substitute ingredients often. Keeps things fresh (no pun intended).
