1 can beans (your preference -red, black, white, pinto, etc.)
4 ounces tomato sauce
1 cube Basic Sofrito (about 1 1/2 tablespoons)
salt or Homemade Adobo to taste
1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon olives or capers (optional)
1 small potato or pumpkin, peeled and cubed (optional)
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1 packet sazon
1 packet chicken or pork bouillon (optional)
1 cup water
1/2 cup cooking ham, diced(optional)
Add water, ham, and potatoes. Bring to boil about 5 minutes.
Add beans with juices. Cook about 25 minutes at medium heat.
