Pine Grove Cranberry Bread

Introduction

Not a low fat/low calorie but needed to know info!
Good for a treat once in awhile! Like the HOLIDAYS!
Wait till cold before slicing. Keep in refrigerator.

Wait till cold before slicing. Keep in refrigerator.

Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    2 c. flour
    1/2 t. salt
    1 1/2 t. baking powder
    1/2 t. soda
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. apple or orange juice
    1/4 c. melted butter
    1 egg, beaten
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. chopped fresh cranberries or sweet dried berries

Directions

In a large bowl, stir dry ingred. In a small bowl, mix egg, juice & butter. Pour wet mixture into dry. Mix lightly until combined. Add berries. Pour into 2 loaf pans. Bake until done.
350 degrees 60-75 minutes.
Makes 2 loaves 8x3.
KEEP IN REFRIGERATOR
