Ingredients



    * Beef, top sirloin, 32 oz
    * *Potato White 1 Med Potato ( 148gm ), 3 serving
    * Celery, cooked, 4 stalks
    * Carrots, cooked, 5 carrot
    * Mushrooms, cooked, 1 cup pieces
    * Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
    * *McCormick Beef Stew Seasoning Mix 1 pkg, 1 serving
    * Water, tap, 4 cup (8 fl oz)
    * *Extra Light Olive Oil, 3 tbsp

Directions

Trim and cut up 2 pounds of sirloin steak (We buy the thin ones that are on "special")
In a skillet add olive oil and beef and brown
Cut up potatoes, carrots, celery, onion and mushrooms
Put in large soup pot, add water and seasoning mix
Pour browned meat over the top, stir together.
Heat on high until it comes to a light boil. Turn down to low, cover and simmer until potatoes are tender.
serve with corn bread
Makes about 16 cups
