Bread - Basic White

Number of Servings: 14


    1-1/4 cups warm water (110-130 degrees F)
    2 tbsp vegetable oil
    3 cups bread flour (or regular flour may be used)
    1/3 cup white sugar
    3/4 tsp salt
    1 tbsp instant dry yeast


Place all ingredients into bread machine in the order listed.

Press the "Loaf" button (on the upper right) one time, until a little arrow points up in the middle of the timer screen (for 1-1/2 lb loaf).

Press the "Crust Color" button (on the lower right) two times until 1L shows up in the screen (for light crust).

Press the "Start" button.

Makes a 1-1/2 lb loaf.
