Ingredients

    3/4 cup gourmet popping corn kernels
    2 tablespoons unrefined, non-hydrogenated, virgin coconut oil
    1/2 teaspoon Adobo All Purpose Seasoning

Directions

Melt 2 tablespoons of unrefined, non-hydrogenated, virgin coconut oil in a large pan. Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon of Goya Adobo All Purpose Seasoning directly into the melted coconut oil. Add 3/4 cup of popcorn kernels. Cover with lid and cook on high heat until the corn begins to pop. Reduce heat to medium-high until the remaining kernels are popped. Serve immediately.

    If you're going to eat popcorn, you may as well eat POPCORN. Despite the bad rap that tropical oils have gotten in the past, recent reports are the extra virgin coconut oil is actually good for our bodies. Remember the calories, use sparingly and enjoy a delightful bowl of this popcorn! - 1/8/10

    I love this, had some in Costa Rica for the first time recently and have bought some oil and now make it at home here in Spain. The oil is hard to find but I have some indian shops near here and I found the oil there. I put brewers yeast on mine..yum yum yum!! - 2/4/10

  • I purchased some of this coconut oil on-line from a company in Thailand who refines this oil beautifully... I have been saving my calories for this treat. The Goya Adobo seasoning is in the Mexican food section--good on meat, too. It is amazing--thanks for sharing. What is the serving size? - 1/16/10

    I'VE NEVER HEARD OF ADOBO OIL AND I HAVEN'T SEEN EXTRA VIRGIN COCONUT OIL SO I'LL HAVE TO BECOME ACQUAINTED WITH BOTH. I REALLLY HOPE TO TRY IT THOUGH. IT SOUNDS INTERESTING. - 1/10/10
