Spaghetti Sauce

Introduction

Thought I'd try some spaghetti sauce on my own. Easy enough and tastes good. Really meaty and could use sausage or turkey instead, right? Thought I'd try some spaghetti sauce on my own. Easy enough and tastes good. Really meaty and could use sausage or turkey instead, right?
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 lb. Lean Ground Beef
    2 cloves garlic
    4 ripe tomatoes
    1 can Tomato soup
    1 Bay leaf
    2 tsp. ground oregano
    1 - 2 packets Splenda sweetener
    Salt
    Pepper

Directions

Brown the ground beef with minced cloves of garlic. In a sauce pan blanch tomatoes to make peeling easier. Drain tomatoes and peel then puree them. Add puree and can tomato soup to sauce pan with bay leaf, oregano, salt and pepper bring to a boil. Reduce heat, add ground beef and garlic, add sweetener. Allow to simmer covered as long as you like, longer the better.
