Kelly's Lasagne

Introduction

My version of this tasty family favourite! My version of this tasty family favourite!
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1kg ground mined beef (drain off fat once cooked)
    1 medium onion, sliced and diced
    3 cloves or tsps crushed garlic
    1 small can mushrooms (or fresh)
    1 bottle Pasta sauce
    250gms lasagne pasta
    1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    spray of olive oil
    herbs to taste
    ground back pepper to taste

Directions

1. Cook pasta as per directions on packet & pre-heat oven at 180C/350F.

2. Spray pay with olive oil. Add garlic and onion, and cook until translucent.

3. Add minced beef and cook through until browned. Add herbs, black pepper, mushrooms and pasta sauce. (Can add other veggies if you wish).

4. Cook through until tender and ready (about 20-30 minutes).

5. In a (olive oil) sprayed baking dish, layer the meat sauce & the lasagne pieces; ending with the pasta on top layer. Sprinkle over the Parmesan cheese.

6. Bake in a pre-heated oven of 180C/350F for around 40 minutes, or until golden brown on top.

Serve with salad and crusty bread.
