Introduction

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 lb small red beans
    1 med green pepper
    seeded
    1 small onion peeled but whole
    clove garlic
    3 cups cooked rice

Directions

Cook beans with garlic pepper and onion till tender. Drain saving broth . Puree bean mix. Bake bean mix uncovered in greased cast iron pan at about 200 degrees farenheit. Mixing often until it dries out. Add cooked rice and mix well. Add back about 1/2 cup of broth now and save remainder for a soup stock. Bake until dry covered lightly with aluminum foil. takes at leas 3 hours or longer to dry out sop it is not too mushy
