Donna's Creamy White Chicken Chili

Introduction

Yumm for those cold days. If you're up for the extra carbs try this stupid easy beer bread (3 C. self-rising flour), 1/2 C. Sugar & 1 can of beer. Bake at 350 for 45 mins to 1 hr. Ingredients

    1 lb. Chicken breast, diced, no skin/bones
    1 Onion, medium, chopped
    1 T. Olive Oil
    2 Cans (15 oz.) Northern Beans
    1 Can (14 oz.) Chicken broth
    2 Cans Chopped green Chilis
    1 t. Garlic powder
    1 t. salt
    1 t. cumin
    1 t. oregano
    1 t. black pepper
    1 C. Lowfat Sour Cream

Directions

Saute onion and chicken in olive oil. Add remaining ingredients (except sour cream) and simmer for 30 minutes. Mix in sour cream after simmering is complete.

You can also save time by using a rotisserie chicken and reducing the simmering time! Just add everything after the onions become translucent, simmer, then mix in sour cream.
