Snickers Muffins

Submitted by: CHASINGTHENOW

Introduction

A recipe I found online and want to try soon. A recipe I found online and want to try soon.
Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    * *Whole Wheat Flour, 1.66 cup (remove)
    * Granulated Sugar, .3750 cup (remove)
    * Baking Powder, 4.5 tsp (remove)
    * Salt, 1 dash (remove)
    * *Peanut Butter, chunk style, 6 tbsp (remove)
    * Peanut Butter, smooth style, .25 cup (remove)
    * Egg, fresh, 1 large (remove)
    * Milk, 2%, .75 cup (remove)
    * Snickers Candy Bar, 3.5 bar (2 oz) (remove)

Directions

Preheat the oven to 400.

Stir together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add the chunky PB!

Mix with your fingers until you have a bowl of coarse crumbs (ish).

Add the melted PB and egg to the mix and stir gently to combine. Then add to the flour mixture and mix together with a spoon for a minute or two. Then…the Snickers!

Add to the batter in batches, stirring to combine in between each.

The batter is very chunky and firm, so just dollop it into the muffin cups.

You could probably smooth them out a bit, but I preferred mine seriously chunky…borderline misshapen. Bake for 20-25 minutes, when the tops are risen, golden, and firm.

Leave in the pan and cool on a wire rack for 5-10 minutes before letting the muffins cool out of the pan. Then EAT!
