Introduction

This is the best taco soup I have found. I think the refried beans really help with the consistency of the soup. Makes approximately 14 one cup servings. This is the best taco soup I have found. Number of Servings: 13

Ingredients

    1 large Onion, chopped
    1 pkg Taco Seasoning
    2 cups Whole Kernel Corn, frozen (or use 1 can)
    1 can Chicken Broth
    1 can Black beans, undrained
    1 can White beans, undrained
    1 can Refried beans
    1 can Diced tomatoes (Mexican flavor or Rotel)
    1 can Diced tomatoes (any flavor)
    1 pound Ground turkey (optional -- it is good either way!)

Directions

Spray large pot with nonstick cooking spray or olive oil. Soften onions and brown ground turkey. Add all other ingredients. Simmer, covered, 1 hour on the stovetop or place ingredients in crockpot and cook on low for 8 hours. Makes approximately 13 servings, 1 cup each.
