Mushrooms & Peas

Introduction

Wonderful side dish- great to accompany steak, chicken or pork. Wonderful side dish- great to accompany steak, chicken or pork.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 10 pz. pkg. frozen green peas
    4 oz. fresh white mushrooms, sliced
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    2 T. I Can't Believe It's Not Butter (light stick)
    1 pkg. Sweet N' Low or any sugar substitute
    1/4 tsp. dried thyme
    1/2 teaspoon salt substitute
    Pinch black pepper

Directions

Cook peas according to package directions; set aside.
Melt butter in skillet over medium heat. Saute onion and garlic until tender, about 3-5 minutes (add mushrooms after about 2 minutes). Stir in the peas and season with Sweet N' Low, salt substitute, thyme and black pepper. Reduce heat to low, and cook just until heated through.
