Introduction

This recipe is a new one to us. My husband has a wheat allergy, I found it in a natural foods cookbook. They are hearty but not too sweet. This recipe is a new one to us. My husband has a wheat allergy, I found it in a natural foods cookbook. They are hearty but not too sweet.
Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

    1/2 cup canola oil
    1/2 cup honey
    4 cup rolled oats
    1 cup chestnuts ( or almonds or pecans your taste)
    1/2 dry cranberries ( or dates or rasins your taste)
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 med eggs beaten

Directions

over low heat mix oil and honey with wisk. Combine to next 4 ingredients ( already prepared in bowl). Mix well. Beat eggs with wisk and fold into mixture. Press into 9x13 pan bake 25 to 30 min at 350 F.
