Beef & Sweet Potato Stew

Ingredients

    Beef, round steak, 1 lb
    Turnips, 2 medium
    Sweet potato, 2 sweetpotato, 5" long
    Celery, raw, 1 cup, diced
    Mushrooms, fresh, 1.5 cup, whole
    Canned Tomatoes, 1 can
    Organic All-Purpose White Flour, 3 tbsp
    Red Wine, 8 fl oz
    Olive Oil, 1 1tsp
    Butter, salted, 1 pat
    Curry powder, 1 tsp
    Cinnamon, ground, 1 tsp
    Cloves, ground, 1 tsp
    Coarse sea salt, 0.5 tsp
    Pepper, black, 1 tsp
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
    Garlic, 6 cloves
    Herbes de Provence, 1 tbsp

Directions

Chop all veggies. Keep garlic & onion together, and all other veggies together. Heat Olive Oil and Butter in a large dutch oven, add in garlic and onions, then beef, dredging in flour mixed with a little of the salt and pepper, and a little of the herbes de provence. Then, add in the canned tomatoes, the spices, the vegetables, and the red wine. Bring to a boil, COVER, then put in 325 degree oven. Allow to cook slowly until the beef is falling apart, 3-4 hours. Great alone, or with a small slice of crusty bread (not included).
