Onion Potatoes

Introduction

Delicious Potatoes used as a side dish to any meat, poultry or fish main course. Delicious Potatoes used as a side dish to any meat, poultry or fish main course.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    Potatoes (For Baking - Large)
    Onion (1 or 2 medium)
    Olive Oil
    Salt

Directions

Enough Potatoes for 4 servings. Adjust for servings needed.

1. Peel and Slice One Yellow Onion.
2. Peel and Slice Potatoes (Round Slices thinly, Maybe around 1/4 of an inch)
3. Add Olive Oil on a frying pan (make sure it has cover and large enough to hold sliced potatoes and onions) on stove top at between low and medium setting.
4. Add Sliced Potatoes.
5. Add Sliced Onions on top of potatoes.
6. Add left over Olive Oil on top of Onions and Potatoes and salt as desired.
7. Cover pan.
8. After around 25 minutes CAREFULLY (cause potatoes will break) mix potatoes and onions a little bit so as to get potatoes at the bottom of the pan on top).
9. Add some salt as desired.
10. Cover Again.
11. After about 10 minutes uncover and check potatoes for tenderness and taste (salt)

Enjoy these very simple potatoes with someone special!!!!!

Optional: Add a couple of spat's of low fat butter or margarine over potatoes in step 6.
