What is fish sauce? Is it a sauce to put on fish or a sauce made out of fish? I'm a vegetarian so I was curious :) - 4/10/09

It's a sauce made out of fish. You get it in the oriental section of the grocery store.

It's even better when you marinate the chicken in lime juice, ginger, and garlic before cooking the chicken.

I don't like the taste of fish much as was wondering if I could omit the fish oil? Would it taste okay? - 1/13/10

It's not oil, its a water based fish sauce. You can omit it.

  • Put this over chicken and wheat blend spaghetti noodles. It was pretty good. Too much lime juice for my taste and it was a bit runny. Other than that it was good! - 1/24/10
