Ingredients

    1.5 cups flour
    1/4 cup margerine
    1.5 cups milk
    2 large eggs
    3 tsp. sugar
    .5 tsp salt
    3 tsp. baking powder

Directions

Mix ingredients with an electric beater. Cook in a waffle iron

  • Awesomely good, added the vanilla as well and dried blue berries on half the mix, great as written and just as good with the vanilla and blue berries. No syrup required with a melted pat of butter.
    I sprinkled bacon bits on one with maple syrup great as well.

  • I purchased a new waffle iron and decided to try this recipe:

    It is a winner!!! Nice and fluffy and crisp! I added a teaspoon of vanilla extract and we could smell the vanilla while it was cooking. Very yummy! - 4/24/10
