Tasty Turkey Veggie Patties

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    12oz. ground turkey breast (Jenny-o)
    3 Tbsp Quick cooking oats
    3 Tbsp. parmesean cheese (Kraft in a can)
    1/2. cup of green, red peppers, onions diced finely
    1/4 cup finely diced mushrooms
    1 egg white
    1 Tbsp garlic powder (not salt)
    1 Tsp. seasoning salt
    1 Tsp. ground black pepper

Directions

Combine all ingredients and form into 4 patties, the patties will weigh in at roughly 4.5 ounces. Coat pan with cooking spray and cook patties over med heat until cooked through. Because these patties are so low in fat they do not shrink. Serve on a whole wheat bun (not counted for in nutritional value) with all the normal hamburger condiments, such a great alternative to beef burgers. I like to make these in bigger batches, pre-weigh the patties and freeze them for a quick burger fix.
