I substituted 1.25 lb of ground turkey and added some of my own special seasonings that I like in my chili. I also cooked in the slow cooker all day so it was ready when we got home. This turned out great and I was able to freeze leftovers for next week! - 2/18/10

made it in the crock pot on low overnight keeping the sweet peppers out until this morning so they wouldn't be overdone. also added some crushed red pepper and jalapenos for some extra heat. It was so good for lunch my roommate and I decided we're going to have what's left for dinner! - 3/19/10

  • I made this for dinner last night and we really loved it. I used my tomatoes from my garden instead of canned. I am sure this will taste just as good with canned. I will be making this often. Thank you - 10/4/11
