Yummy Chocolate Chip Cookies

- enhanced by different types of chocolate chips
note: for a more buttery taste, increase butter and reduce margarine in equal amounts (2/3 cup total). The more butter, the crisper the cookie.

Number of Servings: 25

Ingredients

    1 egg
    1/2 cup packed brown sugar
    1/2 cup granulated white sugar
    1 tsp vanilla
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    2/3 cup minus 1 tbl soft margarine
    1 tbl softened butter
    1 1/2 cups flour
    1 cup of chocolate chips (semi-sweet, milk, white, mint, butterscotch or a mix of any)
    1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Directions

Approx 25 cookies

Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
Mix egg, brown sugar, white sugar, vanilla, butter and margarine.
Stir in baking soda and salt.
Add flour and mix.
Add chocolate chips and nuts, if desired.
Drop by spoonfuls on baking parchment lined cookie sheet.
Bake in 375 degree oven for 12-15 minutes.
