Introduction

Sometimes I make this with ground turkey breast but it really tastes more like the real deal with extra lean ground beef. Sometimes I make this with ground turkey breast but it really tastes more like the real deal with extra lean ground beef.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 cup chopped onion
    1 cup diced green pepper
    1-2 cloves minced garlic
    4 ounces extra lean ground beef
    1/4 cup raw rice
    1 (14.50z) can diced tomatoes
    1 cup tomato sauce
    1 cup V-*8 juice
    4 cups beef broth
    1 teaspoon pepper

Directions

Spray large saucepan with cooking spray and saute the onion and green pepper until they soften. Add garlic and ground beef. Cook until no longer pink. Add rest of ingredients and bring to a boil. Turn heat to med. low and simmer until rice is cooked, stirring occasionally. Makes 6 1 1/2 cup servings.
